Let me float a few names and see if you can tell me what it is that they all have in common:

- Al Pacino - Humphrey Bogart - Napoleon

Well, you have probably guessed it correctly - they are all short, yet well-known, guys. And you know what? Each one of them was awesome with the ladies (and not merely because of their celebrity status - they were all players before they gained their fame.)

As a matter of fact, the reason they were able to attract girls was largely due to their strong inner attitude.

If you are a short guy there are a couple of things you can try in the short term. Donning boots will add 2 or 3 inches to your stature.

When you dress, try to wear vertical stripes and tight clothes. This will make you appear SLENDER, which will in turn make you appear taller.

For the long term, one way a short guy can become more dominant physically is to work out. If you have muscles, it helps A GREAT DEAL, not only with your physical appearance, but also with your levels of confidence, strong inner attitude, and poise. So get to the gym.

When you are muscular and you happen also to be a short guy, you then become like a pit bull. And I'd suggest that you experiment with that - there is no need to always be the nice guy who is polite. For the next few months, consider letting your "inner badass" come out just a little when you are with girls.

Do the affirmation, "I'm becoming like the pitbull who can dominate the bigger dogs." Repeat this to yourself aloud when you are alone.

Once you begin to feel more confident, change your affirmation to this: "I AM like the pitbull who can dominate bigger dogs."

I have noticed that many short guys develop a VERY strong presence merely by cultivating their inner badass.

Of course, I am by no means saying that you should become a jerk. Just try to balance out that inner nice guy that is often all too prevalent.

The next thing you should do long term is GIVE UP seeking approval of any kind. Who cares what a woman thinks of you? Go through life acting how you want to, and being who you are. (This is so key by the way - those guys I listed above were players exactly because they went through life doing what they wanted to do and being true to who they were.)

The fact is, short guys who are badasses have something of an advantage. Because of their stature, they will automatically be able to garner more rapport with the chicks (who also tend to be short) than will guys who are beanpoles. And when you add to this a little of the "badboy" element, it makes chicks dripping wet with attraction.

The bottom line: only when YOU are feeling uncomfortable with your height will it affect your level of success with the girls. If you feel completely comfortable with your height, they will as well.

By the way, when it comes to tall guys, the thing women find attractive about them has nothing to do with their height. It is about their dominance. If you demonstrate a highly-developed sense of inner confidence, and project a personality that sucks them in, height will be the furthest thing from their minds when you are with them.

So to sum up, be true to yourself, take risks in your life, cultivate your inner badass, and stop caring so much about the approval of others. And hit the gym regularly.

This way you will be able to attract girls without having to worry about irrelevant things like height.

John Alexander, the author discussed in my How To Become An Alpha Male review, says that while most other dating books focus on WHAT to do to please the woman, the better approach is to concentrate instead on how to BECOME the man that women respond to.
